UWA Choral Society presents
Beethoven, Britten & Festive Works
In celebration of the festive season, esteemed conductor Kristin Bowtell leads the orchestra, chorus and guest vocalists in Beethoven’s early, transcendent Mass in C. Bridging church and concert hall better than almost any other mass, many regard this strikingly modern work not only as a passionate offering to God, but also as an intensely personal response to its central liturgical texts. Also featured on the program are Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb and other well-known festive works such as Good King Wenceslas and O Come, All Ye Faithful.
Share in the joy of Christmas with sumptuous baroque choral music followed by a picnic with chorus and orchestra by UWA's Reflection Pond following the performance.
