Celebrate the Christmas season with UWA Choral Society.
Highlights include JS Bach’s Magnificat and Gerald Finzi’s In Terra Pax. A true splendour of the Baroque, Bach’s Magnificat is a stirring, celebratory work.
In Terra Pax, subtitled ‘A Christmas Scene’, borrows from Robert Bridge’s poetry and Luke’s Gospel. It is a radiant work of great beauty and sincerity.
To conclude, the choir performs an international selection of Christmas carols. The festivities continue with UWA Choral Society’s annual picnic by the UWA Reflection Pond following the performance.
Doors will open at 3.15pm.
