Matching this work in popularity is Poulenc’s Gloria, hailed as one of the great and most beautiful choral works of the twentieth century. Its enduring attraction is a response to its simple piety interspersed with an almost mischievous and rollicking enjoyment.
Adding to the attraction of this joyful concert is the rare addition of an organ concerto performed by renowned organist Alessandro Pittorino.
